The new Enron, Worldcom, Tyco, Vivendi

Hi there, a story about Noble Group made me think of this thread. Food for thoughts…

Theranos, of course…

Giving it a bit more time on Tesla as the predicted collapse is unfolding live. Really fascinating. Elon Musk is the Howard Hughes of our time…

2 good threads to catch up though…

Valeant, interesting as well… Good track record for Jim Chanos: Enron, Valeant, Tesla…

Good thread from Rudy Havenstein on the same theme. Totally agree with him about danger of permabulls in mainstream financial media. I remember the rubbish advice that those talking heads were still pushing down retail investors’ throats weeks before the dot.com bubble finally popped.

Unbelievable that the stock has not ctattered yet…

It’s going to make a good film one day…

Ohh absolutely, pretty sure some are already working on it. Just waiting for the guy to finish in Jail / go to rehab for a strong ending. And the “board” (essentially made up of friends / family) still supports him, believe his integrity while he is making up stuff 24/7. But what choice do they have, Tesla w/o Elon would be worth a fraction of what it is worth today. A case study, really. My guess, Elon has to step down and continues to lead via his idiot Solar City brother (Kimbal).

Who will play Elon I wonder? Ryan Reynolds perhaps
